Hey, recently I have been on a mission to restore my hair and in the process of restoring it, it would allow me to straighten it. I have been using every shampoo, conditioning treatment, oils and heat protecting.
Guess what? My hair actually let me straighten it. Of course, it isn't perfect but the fact that my whole hair can be semi-straight and in some parts be completely straight is a victory in my eyes. I hadn't been treating my hair really well. I heated, dyed it and fried it!
Here's what it looked after the "process":
You can definitely see the areas where it wouldn't completely straighten but we are making progess, people! I hoping once I do a trim and leave it completely alone for the majority of the summer it will be back in action.
I thought I would share the products I used. All of them are John Frieda, it seems to be the only brand that can handle the hot mess that is my hair. Yes, dead ends, I am talking to you.

While my hair is wet, I put in John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation (pictured below), seriously. Your hair will thank you!

Using these different products definitely helped make the process more manageable. But after I get my hair cut, I will do a compare and contrast.
XOXO

Your hair looks great! I need to try some JF straightening products.. my hair has become the same from putting oil in it. Better to have thick and healthy hair than straight I suppose! xx
